Renne Elizabeth Cooper (Cherry), 64 departed this life on June 4, 2017 in her Pleasantville, NJ home. Shewas born on August 21, 1952 to the late Benjamin Cherry and Mary Hall (Cherry, Wright) in Edison, NJ.
Renne earned her high school diploma From Plainfield High School and then attended Norfolk State College in Norfolk, VA and Middlesex County College, in Middlesex, NJ. She spent most of her life in Plainfield, NJ, but also lived in Atlantic City, Brigantine, and Pleasantville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Ernest Cooper Jr. Renne always loved to write, and despite facing many challenges, always found something great to write and smile about! She often expressed herself through poetry and in 2008 not only had a poem published, but also awarded the Editor's Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry by and the International Library of Poetry.

Renne was a loving mother who took great pride in the accomplishments of her children. She loved being near the ocean and had an insatiable love for animals. She will always be remembered for making time for her beloved grand-doggies Thelma Walker (Pug) and the late Rosco Davis (Pit bull). Although she will be missed by many, her life will continue to be honored and celebrated by those who she touched, through care and concern, loyalty, hard work, and a positive outlook, regardless of the circumstances.

Surviving is a daughter Renee Walker of Jersey City, NJ; a son Anthony Davis of Charlotte, NC; a granddaughter Isabell Walker of Jersey City, NJ; a grandson Anthony Davis Jr. of Brandywine, MD; an
uncle Umphray G. Hall of Plainfield; an aunt Marjorie G. Hall or Plainfield; two cousins Lesli H. Price of
Plainfield and Brian G. Hall of Randallstown, MD and a host of other relatives and friends.
