Obituary

Loree (Bea) Edwards was born to the Late J.V Edwards and the Late Thomasina Hicks on September 12, 1938 in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. At an early age, her family relocated to Plainfield, NJ. She attended the Plainfield Public school system. In 1972, Loree began working for Silvertrim in South Plainfield where she worked for several years. She later realized her passion for working with young children and began a new career at King’s Temple Day School where she had an incredible impact on children ages infant to five years old. Later, Loree met and married the late Joseph Prince. She was a pillar in her community offering humorous banter and words of wisdom to many people both young and old. She was an active member at the House of Prayer Ministries; as well as King’s Temple Ministries, both located in Plainfield,
NJ. Loree held positions on the Junior Pastor’s Aide, Nurse Unit Ministries, and the Usher Board.

Loree is predeceased by her sibling the Late James Edwards and her special niece Renisha (Nit) Edwards. She leaves to treasure her memories, her devoted sisters, Lisa Robinson - Burgess, and Veda Ann Edwards. She is survived by her children, Charles Edwards of Alabama, Debra Lynn Jackson of Pennsylvania, Beverly Lynn Davis of Union, Tiffany Denise Edwards of Roselle, NJ, and Latara Shamika Edwards of North Plainfield, NJ. She leaves to Mourn her grandchildren, Hikimah Eurie, Tamir “Man” Jackson, Saleem Nicholson, Khalil Shabazz Edwards, Haleemah McCoy, Haleeyah McCoy, Hakeemah McCoy, Blessin Kouassi, Romeo “ManMan” Kouassi, Prince Kouassi, Ja’Quan Sa’haad Edwards, Kori Alexis Balmer, Latosha Matthews, Renee Jenkins, Al- Jermain Perkins, Sharod Crisp, Shakeria Rena Hyatt, and Raiana Davis. She will be missed by her special nieces, Tonya Santiago, Shawn Edwards - Dunn, Latara Yvette Edwards, and Sha’kea L. Robinson - Merilan. Along with many children she raised; and a host of
great grandchildren, nephews, cousins, and many loving family members.
Loree (Bea) Edwards’ legacy will live on through her loved ones.
